What You’ll Do:
As a Service Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of high-tech retail scales, packaging systems, and food processing equipment. Every day brings something new—new challenges, new customers, new equipment to master.
You will:
- Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot with confidence.
- Provide expert technical support mostly with on-site visits and in the shop.
- Service and repair retail scales, wrappers, and food processing equipment.
- Apply mechanical repair skills to keep equipment running smoothly.
- Maintain your company vehicle, laptop, and parts inventory.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to a diverse client base.
What You Bring:
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read schematics and diagnose issues logically.
- A customer-first mindset—you care about solving problems the right way.
- Excellent organization and time management.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Preferred Experience:
- HS Diploma/GED + 2–4 years mechanical/electrical experience.
- Food equipment service experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on electrical/mechanical work.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift 50–75 lbs (with or without assistance)
- Walk 1–3 miles/day; drive 2–5 hours/day
- Kneel, squat, bend, push/pull in various environments (noise, heat, cold, wet)
- Availability for overtime and on-call rotations.
